There is a world of difference between "a cheap photographer" and "an inexpensive wedding photographer"?. Our inexpensive storytelling photography will guarantee you won't be left looking like two stone cold mannequins on your wedding day.. (Neil Anthony www.itmPhotos.com)

See grandma like you've never seen her before!

Will your wedding reception be just as important to you as the ceremony?. Many couples today see their wedding reception as something very near and dear to them because they realize at least two or three generations of people will be in attendance and they would like their wedding photographer to document this time as authentically as possible. Dutch police train eagles to snatch drones in mid flight

Ok now for something completely different. Thinking about having someone video your wedding with a drone? Well if you’re getting married in the Netherlands think again because Dutch police are training eagles to snatch drones right out of the sky. (Full Story: http://reut.rs/1UFPn09)

Hi everyone this is Neil Anthony. This wedding season I will be posting the occasional testimonial that I have been receiving throughout my photography career  starting with one that I really did not expect.....

Martin and Heather got married during the summer at the Morris Museum.
Morris Museum
This wedding was probably the most untraditional, laid back and undemanding wedding I have ever photographed. In fact it may have been too laid back because I didn't really have the opportunity to capture what one might consider to be a 'signature image' that I would submit to a competition or simply post on some prominent page of my website. But once you read the testimonial you will see that for the couple it wasn't really about the photos, the focus was squarely on their friends and family and they were pleased that I captured moments that were important to them and that I did this in a manor pleasing to all.

"Heather and I got married as planned on July 19th! It was a wonderful celebration and everyone had a great time! Neil's photography helped make our wedding extra special. From the moment that I first spoke to him on the phone until we shook hands at the end of our reception, he was friendly, professional, and very easy going.

Extended Family

He arrived early to the venue to scope out some nice spots for photos. He was able to kindly corral our extended
family for the group photos which turned out excellent. All of our guests that spoke of Neil said that he did a wonderful job and how attentive he was to taking impromptu photos of special moments.

Our online photo album was available to us within a week of the wedding and we were blown away by the quality and content of the photos. It was as if Neil was in three places at once and was able to capture all of the important moments from several angles as well as ones that he thought would be nice for us to have. We are so glad that we hired Neil for our wedding. We recommend him 100% to anyone needing a photographer for a special event. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you for your help with our wedding, we really appreciate it!".

The best compliment I have ever had for my work.

In around 40 seconds or so you will be able to get a tasty bite of what we've been photographing in the last 10 years. I first showed this clip during a meeting to 35-40 business men and women. Later I received the best compliment I have ever had. One of the marketing business people asked me, "how do we know you didn't just buy a bunch of stock images and claimed them to be your own? Well I understood why he would think this as he uses stock photos as part of his business. After a brief moment of thought, I thanked him for questioning my work, as from his perspective my work is good enough to be sold on the stock photography market.

The 'BIG 2.0.1.5'

Are you ready for the 'BIG 2.0.1.5?'

Apparently he is and he's not even the groom.

Clearly this lovely bride is ready to do it all over again.

He's all done.

Capturing wedding day emotions.

2014 continues to be a great season for Neil Anthony, here's a few shots taken at a wedding last weekend.

The groom and ring bearer eagerly awaiting the entrance of the bride, although in fact the ring bearer seems more interested in me than what's happening directly in front of him.

The bride approaches with her father.

The preacher seemed intent on making sure the couple received a solid spiritual wedding day message about marriage.

As a photographer I find it particularly important to capture as many 'story telling' expressions as possible.

The bride begins to console her soon to be husband as his emotions starts to get the better of him.

These are real tears that she is moping up.

All done and everyone is smiling again..

Oops, spoke too soon!

2014 Season

We have been very busy in 2014 and therefore have a lot of blogging to catch up with.

One of my favorite things to do while the bride is getting ready; photographing wedding details.

There was a lot of distracting 'wedding stuff' all over the place making it difficult to find a 'clean background' to shoot against. In the end I chose a window, and by over exposing the light coming through I was able to make the background appear white.

I took a chance and asked the bride to hang tight just a little longer in what was pretty frigid weather so I could photograph her shoes as she absolutely LOVES shoes.

Here the groom is wearing a small piece of jewelry that contains a photo of his mother who is deceased.

See the bride's reflection in the mirror as she helps her very proud and happy father with his buttoner

A different perspective of a Catholic priest giving Mass through the crowds.

The soon-to-be husband and wife receiving a blessing.

'Wide' Alter View

One of my self imposed challenges is to try and offer creative and unique angles that you won't find on 'Pinterest' or that Aunt Agnes won't think of when she gets in my way with her iPad. :)

 On top of the world

Failed attempt to throw the bride over the wall.

Bride and little girls getting ready to pose

 Making use of the foliage

Having way too much fun here, (without the groom.)

 Ok, he's back

Cake time; nobody lost an eye!
